The Altamonte Springs team got their heads in the game! The month of March brought luck and two Marketing Happy Hour events to HQ focusing on 16 of our Red ExclusiveDeals in a March-Madness style bracketology contest. Our first event on March 7th allowed our staff to complete a bracket to see which of our Red properties would accumulate the most bookings over 10 days. The winner of the most perfect bracket would win two tickets to see the rivalry game of the Orlando Magic against the Miami Heat on April 8th! Our in-house winner was none other than Product North America’s Allen English, clinching victory in a nail-biting shootout with our Marketing Intern (Janela Cobian), who had an equally competitive bracket.
Happy Hour also included a visit from Orlando Magic representative Jess Lott, who arrived with some sweet giveaways and plenty of education to our team about upcoming Orlando Magic promotions, and more information about the team. If your clients are looking to book a game, don’t miss out—the season ends April 13!

The Happy Hour included a game of mini-basketball with prizes. Everyone from JC Andrade, Director of Training to Ellen Forrest, North America’s VP of Product, participated and won some great prizes—Tourico Holidays luggage, Bluetooth speakers, portable phone chargers, and more! Touricans conquered our basketball challenge with ferocity and won the Tourico Holidays luggage (which she then took on a trip to the Pacific Northwest).
