November’s World Travel Market tradeshow, hosted in London, became a week-long home to 53 members of the Tourico Holidays team from all over the world! Opening on Monday, 02 November, and closing on Thursday, 05 November, Tourico Holidays was represented on and off booth GV240 by delegates from Sales, Product, Ancillary, Marketing, and PS Teams focused on generating leads, meeting with pipeline clients, and contracting with new suppliers.
Also present at the show were members of our executive team, including Amir Kalmar (CMO), Asi Ginio (COO), Lauren Volcheff-Atlass (EVP Global Sales), Ofir Cohen (EVP Strategic Development), and Steve Skidgel (EVP Global Sales)!
Before the show, the team met to review goals on Sunday, 01 November at the Mondrian London (a top ExclusiveDeal property new to our inventory in 2015). Following a comprehensive team meeting, the Sales and Product teams held separate training sessions, hosted by Lauren Volcheff-Atlass and Steve Skidgel. Speakers from across the company covered a wide spectrum of new topics, such as what is new in our global attractions inventory, updates from our Professional Services team, and even new pieces of Marketing material that were launched at the show.
The focus for the 2015 show revolved around the message of “Europe is Tourico”, to display the strength of the company’s European product, focusing heavily on the trademark ExclusiveDeal products. Europe is currently home to 7,000 contracted properties, over 6,000 home rentals, 6 regional offices, 11 car rental brands, and more than 2,000 attractions and transfers.
